A rarer sight in the wild than the Submariner, the Sea Dweller has very similar aesthetic appeal to the Sub but with the addition of even more impressive technical specifications. It is a true diving tool in all respects and has an incredible water resistance depth of 4000 ft. It’s remarkable diving capability means it has a few visual differences from the Submariner, including a thicker sapphire crystal glass, 4mm thicker case and, of course, a helium escape valve on the side of the case. The 16600 model is also a decommissioned watch, and as a result good examples are becoming harder to find with prices rising steadily.
This watch is in absolutely stunning conditional over. The phrase ‘like new’ is often used for mint pre-owned watches, but we are confident in using the phrase for this piece. Possibly the best condition Sea Dweller we’ve had, it clearly hasn’t had much use over the years and still retains the green Rolex hologram sticker on the case back.
